In principle, there are some reasons that can explain why your cell phone is freezing. The most common is when the device has already been used for a long time. Following all the necessary care, smartphones can last, on average, three to six years. Also, some people take such good care of their smartphone that it sometimes lasts up to 10 years. However, even if your cell phone is new and well taken care of, some reasons can cause it to freeze:

1- Overcrowding

You know those installed apps that you rarely use? Know that they can be the main reason a cell phone crashes. In fact, not only apps, such as storing files such as photos, videos, music, among others, can affect the performance of the device.

2- Lack of RAM Memory

RAM memory is your device’s running memory, that is, its ability to store multiple information at the same time while you use it. Therefore, the greater the RAM, in general, the faster the device and the overall functioning of the system. Without it, tasks like opening programs and editing photos and videos would take a long time. Using several heavier applications at the same time, for example, can compromise your device’s RAM memory, especially if it comes with low memory from the factory.

3- Outdated System

The lack of updates can also be responsible for a cell phone such as iPhone 11 crashing. Therefore, keeping your device updated is essential to reduce crashes and have better performance; after all, the updates made available by the manufacturer are responsible for bringing performance improvements, bug fixes, and incrementing with new security protections, among others.

4- Widgets And Live Wallpapers

Seriously, who doesn’t love those live wallpapers, which keep moving even without clicking on anything? Despite being “cute,” they can harm the performance of your cell phone. The same goes for widgets, those application shortcuts on your smartphone’s home screen.
